One month ago, RMA celebrated and commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Falklands conflict in Portsmouth. Join us as we look back at events from that weekend and commemorate all who served, those who were injured and those who lost their lives during the conflict. Lest we forget.

The Winter Deployment

5 years ago, the Royal Marines Club who are now a virtual branch of the RMA commenced a “winter deployment” for some of our wounded and injured Royal Marines and their families.

Derek is a WW2 Royal Navy veteran who is now 96 (nearly 97). He worked with the Royal Marines in a gunnery school and is a very proud associate member of the RMA.

The RMA Gig Club

The idea of a gig club within the RMA was first raised in February 2019. A plastic gig, ‘Trafalgar,’ and two sets of oars were leant to the newly established club by RM Tamar, and safe storage was allocated by Stonehouse Barracks.
