A message from the office of the Commandant General Royal Marines
We have been informed of the final decision from The Office of The Commandant General Royal Marines regarding Corps Families Weekend. We will look forward to 2022, where we can enjoy this fantastic event safely.
Due to the direction of travel of CV-19 spread over the past 2 weeks, which cannot be ignored, it has been necessary to conduct a risk assessment and review all extra ordinary activity planned to take place at CTC. As a result, the decision to cancel the Corps Families Weekend has been taken.
This decision will ensure the safety of our whole Corps Family and Importantly, will protect the CTC training environment and staff, enabling them to continue their critical task of providing the next generation of Royal Marines. We will of course be back and look forward to seeing you all at an Event in 2022.
