In the light of the sad and sudden death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Commandant General Royal Marines, in line with wider Ministry of Defence instructions, has directed that the Corps Family Weekend due to be held at CTCRM over 9-11 September be postponed in its entirety until 2023. Other significant Corps ceremonies, including the supersession of the Commandants General due to take place on 16 September, have also been postponed.
The Trustees and Staff of RMA-The Royal Marines Charity sincerely regret the inevitable inconvenience, expense and disappointment this will cause to many in the Corps Family who had made arrangements to attend, but are certain that all will understand this as an appropriate mark of respect for our late Royal Patron.
