Margaret, the widow of a former Royal Marines Commando from D-Day, has suffered loneliness and isolation in recent years. and was approaching her 100th birthday.

RMA – The Royal Marines Charity has announced that Keith Breslauer, award-winning businessman, philanthropist and Managing Partner of London-based Patron Capital Partners is to assume the role of Vice Patron with immediate effect.
Attended by over 500 guests including dignitaries, corporate and individual supporters, serving and veteran Royal Marines, the annual Dinner is the Charity’s flagship fundraising event and the monies raised are used towards providing lifelong support to the Royal Marines Family.
A group of ex-servicemen are set to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Operation Frankton, a daring World War II mission, by retracing the kayaking route of ten Royal Marines to raise money for three Armed Forces charities.
RMA – The Royal Marines Charity extended special thanks to long-serving founding civilian trustee, Richard Weaver, at its recent annual flagship fundraising Dinner at the Guildhall in London.
