Our thanks go to 42 Commando Royal Marines, Bickleigh Barracks in Plymouth who hosted this year’s annual West Country 100 Dinner, attended by over 100 supporters. The event was MC’d by BBC Radio Devon presenter ‘Fitz’, with RM veteran guest speaker ‘The Rowing Machine’, Lee Spencer.

The evening was an incredible success, bringing supporters together, making new friends and raising over £30,000. Several new members were also recruited who, in promising to spreading the word through their extensive corporate networks, have committed to support future events and to learn more about the Corps and our Charity.

Particular thanks CO Lt Col Jim Lewis for his hospitality and to the ladies and gents who gave up their early Friday evening to put on the displays in the Mess.

The West Country 100 is a select group of 100 business leaders in the South West of England, who come together to enhance support for Royal Marines past, present and future who find themselves in need through injury, illness and hardship.
