Bostonair Group have a long history in supporting the ex-armed forces community. In our Boston Energy division around 35% of all our personnel come from ex-armed forces and tri-services backgrounds. Boston Energy are signed up to the ‘Armed Forces Covenant’.
We have over 20 years’ experience in sourcing and recruiting the best candidates from the ex-armed forces community, investing in them by providing relevant training courses then placing with customers as entry-level technicians (or similar positions). These personnel are then embedded in experienced teams and then quickly ‘level up’ and gain experience quickly. Other opportunities follow and Bostonair Group will provide the opportunity to upskill to more advanced levels in return for commitment from the ex-forces personnel we employ.
Boston Rail are committed to these principles, and already have a number of candidates due to embark on training with NTAR during the Summer of 2020. Boston Rail are looking for ex-forces candidates with experience in electronics, mechanics, telecommunications, vehicle maintenance and other forms of maintenance in particular.
