Insignia Crew’s client (a 90m+ New Build Superyacht) is seeking a deckhand with advanced medical skills, experience and understanding (FREC 4 or EMT level clinical ability) There is no requirement for those interested to have any yachting experience on deck as training will be provided.
The role will be primarily on deck and very involved in all that entails [Deckhand job description available on request]. The candidate will need to have additional advanced medical training but the day-to-day organizing of the medical equipment and treatment of crew and guests will be managed by the onboard nurse. The deck/Medic will play a key role in all medical drills and training onboard.
Required Experience:
- STCW, Security Awareness
- Bonus qualifications if held would be Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
- Power Boat Level 2
- PWC [Jet Ski] and water sport ability and or instructor level qualifications
- Final PADI diving qualifications.
Medical Certificate:
- ENG 1 no restrictions
