Cool and Heat Ltd are Heating and ventilation and Air conditioning Contractor, carrying out projects for some of the most prestigious Blue-Chip companies in the country. We are recruiting for an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter to join our existing projects team on a full time, permanent basis. Working within the Cool and Heat projects team provides exciting opportunities to use a wide range of skills each day, in new and challenging environments.

Plumber Skills and Requirements

Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing instilments and layouts.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.

Fitting and repairing various household appliances.

Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.

Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.

Troubleshooting and resolving problems.

Preparing cost estimates.

Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.

Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

Good listening and communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills and patience.

Physical dexterity.

Trade qualification or completed apprenticeship.

The role will require work experience in the following areas

Commercial Plumbing Experience

Commercial Pipefitting Experience

 

Other beneficial experience

Basic Electrical or HVAC

Health and Safety responsibilities

Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment

Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received

Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.

Salary is offered in the form of an hourly rate, only following successful interview, and is based on qualifications, experience, and location.

 

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

 

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 basic per year
