The Job

To Monitor, record and action solutions for Quality Control within the department. To audit
process and report back findings to the leadership team. Play an integral role in terms of
supporting the Added Value Production Department, providing support to the Team leader
and Working Cell Leaders to ensure the efficient operation of the process.
Primary
Responsibilities
➢Check & Audit against Quality Standards.
➢ Presenting toolbox talks in relation to Quality issues
➢ Corrective Action reporting and either lead or support investigations.
➢ Calibration of QC tooling and audit of tooling within the department.
➢ Report safety and production issues raised/highlighted daily.
➢ Maintain a consistently high level of performance,
➢ Investigate, understand and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
➢ Ensure all documentation is accurately and consistently completed.
➢ Setting and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

The Person

➢Ideally Green Belt Six Sigma
➢ Demonstration of / Capable of problem solving and fault finding.
➢ Process/Production background with relevant experience.
➢ IT skills (Microsoft Office trained).
➢ Good organisational skills, Comfortable with autonomy
➢ Good written and verbal communication.
➢ Technical expertise, ability or familiar with technical drawings/acetates (Ideally)
➢ A desire to develop and participate in new opportunities.
➢ Comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership team and customers

Hours of Work Mon-Thurs, 0800 – 2000 and 2000 – 0800 (rotating shifts)

Basic salary £9.86/hr initially plus shift premiums
