General Sir Gordon Messenger became the official Patron of RMA – The Royal Marines Charity in February 2018.

Vice Patron

Keith is Managing Director and Senior Partner of Patron. He founded Patron Capital in 1999 and is the Managing Partner of Patron Capital Advisers, the investment adviser to the Patron Capital Funds.

Bob Wigley was born 4th February 1961. After spending his childhood in Exeter, Bob graduated from the University of Bath in 1983 with a BSc in Business Administration. 

President & Commandant General Royal Marines

Gwyn Jenkins commissioned into the Royal Marines in 1990. His time as a junior officer was spent in the Commando Logistics Regiment, competing for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines in cross-country skiing and on operations in Northern Ireland with 42 Commando RM.

Lynn Fordham was most recently Managing Partner of Larchpoint Capital LLP (and SVGC Managers Limited) a Private Equity Investment firm which advises private families.
