A remarkable Royal Marine Commando, Lance Corporal Luke Grainger from Chivenor is pushing himself to the limit with a unique running adventure of completing 60 marathons in 60 days, as part of the Royal Marines Commando 80 Challenge in aid of RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.

Yesterday members of 43 Commando joined LCpl Luke Grainger as he completed Marathon 56 on day 56 in Helensburgh.

Marathon 54 with 45 Commando 

💪 Royal Marines just keep on going, whatever the challenge!

As if a marathon wasn’t quite enough, 45 Commando RM had the added pleasure of conquering the 246 steps for a finishing photograph in The National Wallace Monument Crown.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The team joined LCpl Luke Grainger, as he completed his 54th Marathon in 54 days as he makes his way through beautiful Scotland. On Saturday, he heads to Murrayfield, where Luke will cross the finish line of his 59th Marathon at half-time of the Scotland V Australia Autumn Test series.
