The Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) had the pleasure of welcoming Air Marshal Claire Walton CB KHP, Head of The Defence Medical Services (DMS).

Main aim of visit, to see how the CTCRM medical team have successfully adapted in order to support the many and varied Royal Marines Commando arduous training outputs.

During the medical centre visit, the Air Marshal cut the ribbon officially opening the new Enhanced Treatment Facility at CTCRM.

This Treatment Facility is a Defence leader in the treatment of Exertional Heat Illness (EHI) having already cared for over a 100 individuals for a variety of conditions.

The visit culminated as the VIP guest for the Kings Squad Pass out of 359 Troop, witnessing 18 ranks on parade and marching “to your duties” off the parade ground as Royal Marines Commandos.
