Description

Dan Lee Mil Race 2025

Take on the Dan Lee Mil Race in aid of RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.

The Dan Lee Mil Race was established 2023 in memory of former Royal Marine and Firefighter Dan Lee.

Dan passed away in August 2022 after a tragic accident. He served 8 years as a Royal Marine and 16 years with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service as a Firefighter and Watch Manager.

Dan Lee was passionate about his work, his people and community. The race is non profit and has been set up to bring people together, work as a team and generate funds for the Royal Marine Charity.

The ten mile route includes 1447 ft of elevation gain over a mixture of quiet roads, farm tracks and moorland. Race open to both runners and weighted TAB (military style 35 lbs pack and ankle boots) entries with separate categories for both. This event raises funds for both RMA – The Royal Marines Charity and Firefighters Charity.

Registration open from 0900 – 1045. TAB entrants to please allow time for pack weigh in.

Weighted TAB start at 1100. Runners start at 1120.

3 participants completes a team.
