Are you an Armed Forces veteran or service leaver?

Do you want to understand how your skills can provide a project management career in businesses and the opportunities it provides?

The Scotland Region of the Association for Project Management in conjunction with the Armed Forces are planning a full day event specifically designed for Armed Forces veterans or Service leavers.

Join us in Edinburgh to realise the experience and training you can bring to the different business area sectors in the various project management roles that these organisation can provide, as a next step in your career. The day will improve your understanding and the opportunities that your skills can provide and be applied to the various aspects of project management.

The day will include presentations by a variety of Corporates on why your experience is needed and the opportunities they offer, followed by a presentation by Armed Forces service leavers on how they have transitioned into business by offering real like examples. A panel session across the various industries will provide an interactive session and opportunity for you to ask any questions to help you recognise the experience may not realise you had and the benefit a career in project management brings.

We aim to inspire and equip attendees with a better understanding of potential future career paths in project management. The day will also provide many opportunities on how you can gain recognised exam qualifications in this area, expand your network hear from current organisations and visit their stands.
