The Arla Great North Swim is a  weekend-long celebration of open-water swimming. Expect stunning scenery, the best of local food and drink, outdoor activities, culture, art, history and thousands of like-minded people coming together. Think of it more as an open-water adventure than a race.

Join thousands of like-minded people and set yourself an open water challenge in the great outdoors at the UK’s biggest open water swim event. For over fourteen years Great Swim has provided tens of thousands of swimmers with exhilarating, challenging and, safe open water swimming events.
