I am a second-year PhD student at Loughborough University who is studying how combat veterans experienced combat, trauma, being commanded, and mental illness. This study is the first of its kind. Notably, as well as interviewing combat veterans, the study will do the same for those who have provided treatment for those psychologically impacted by combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
What I need to do if I am interested in participating?
• Email Martin and say you are interested.
• He will then send you an information sheet and will answer any
questions.
• Check that you meet the inclusion criteria for the study.
• If you are still happy to participate, complete a consent form.
• Martin will arrange an interview either in person or virtually.
