John Holden, one of our members and a regular volunteer is setting off on a Kayaking adventure down the Danube to raise funds for several charities including RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.
On June 12th, John will begin his kayaking journey along the second-longest river in Europe, which spans over 2,850 kilometers and passes through 10 countries.
Holden is hoping to raise £5000 through his JustGiving crowdfunding page, and is calling on the community to donate to support these worthy causes.
“I’m excited to take on this challenge and raise funds for some important charities,” said Holden. “It’s going to be a tough journey, but knowing that we’re making a difference will keep us motivated along the way.”
