This is a unique opportunity to work within a specialist sector of the UK’s construction industry. Modular pontoons play a crucial part in construction and civil engineering projects based on and around water providing safe access to enable scheduled and emergency works to be completed.
Based in Somerton, Somerset, Pontoonworks are the industry leader and are looking to expand their team of installers to work throughout the UK. Although located in the South West you will be working on sites across mainland Britain and the nature of the projects might require you to be away from home for up to 5 days at a time.
You should be able to show initiative and work well in a team, you will be flexible and keen to learn. Successful applicants will be given full training, a CSCS card is useful be not essential. You must have held a full driving licence for at least 8 years
We are offering between £9-11 per hour for the first 6 months’ probation period and will also pay £15 per night for food and £20 per night compensation for staying away.
