Guildhall Dinner raises in excess of £931,000

Attended by over 500 guests including dignitaries, corporate and individual supporters, serving and veteran Royal Marines, the annual Dinner is the Charity’s flagship fundraising event and the monies raised are used towards providing lifelong support to the Royal Marines Family.  

60 marathons in 60 days

A Royal Marines Commando has completed the “phenomenal” achievement of running 60 marathons in 60 days.

‘Marathon Man’ Lance Corporal Luke Grainger completed the challenge as part of the RM Commando 80 Challenge.

The West Country 100 Dinner 2022

Our thanks go to 42 Commando Royal Marines, Bickleigh Barracks in Plymouth who hosted this year’s annual West Country 100 Dinner, attended by over 100 supporters. The event was MC’d by BBC Radio Devon presenter ‘Fitz’, with RM veteran guest speaker ‘The Rowing Machine’, Lee Spencer.

The Bands of HM Royal Marines are set to thrill audiences and again take London’s Royal Albert Hall by storm at the 51st Mountbatten Festival of Music on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th March, 2023, with two evening performances and a Saturday matinee, raising funds for Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charities.

Extraordinary Challenge, Extraordinary Corps

The Royal Marines are running over 20 marathons across the UK in September and October this year.  This is just one of many challenges being planned to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Royal Marines becoming Commandos.

We went wild!

The sun shone down during the Bank Holiday weekend for the more than seven thousand people who attended Bear Grylls’ four-day Gone Wild Festival. As the Festival’s chosen charity, we receive 10% of all general admission tickets to help us towards supporting serving and former Royal Marines and their families.
