Support Network in action to assist Royal Marine Veteran

In conjunction with the Support Officer, RMA – The Royal Marines Charity were able to identify suitable medical transport that would enable Robin to make the move to his daughters’ property, with a grant awarded to help cover the cost of medical transportation as well as future care costs.

The UK Veterans Family Study

The UK Veterans Family Study is exploring the experiences of spouses/intimate partners and adult children (18+ years) of UK Armed Forces Veterans and they’re recruiting participants who want to share those experiences.

The Corps Family supporting Sean Ivey

Sean Ivey was discharged from the Royal Marines in 2016. In March 2021, after confronting youths about anti-social behaviour, Sean’s house was firebombed, and he and his family had to flee for their lives in the middle of the night.

Recently, RMA – The Royal Marines Charity awarded a small grant of £250 to enable a Veteran dealing with mental health issues to attend a wilderness course in Scotland.
